Description
C36500 Leaded Muntz, a copper alloy enriched with zinc, tin, and lead, balances strength, corrosion resistance, and excellent machinability, comparable to C46400 Naval Brass but with higher lead content that enhances machinability for a range of applications. Historically prominent in shipbuilding as hull liner, it later gained favor in the pressure-vessel sector for tube-sheets and condenser/cooler plates, and today its warm reddish-gold hue plus corrosion resistance makes it suitable for decorative and architectural uses, making it a versatile material across diverse industries.
